Election day- nojomo day 3

Today is Election Day in the United States. How are you feeling about it? What is your favorable outcome and why? How would you feel if your candidate lost?

im feeling nervous, Trump relected. scared

voting to me is always choosing the less corrupt person for the job. you believe differntly fine.  ur choice thats America.  how ever if you say your going to change things and have been in polictics for almost 50 years you are a problem.  Yes we need change because you should not becomem a millionaire while being a USA Senator. with the salary it should be impossible.. but it happens. and you shouldn't be a lifer either if you spend 10 years in office to me that should be the max.  what floors me is every time we have a democatic prez  the republicans take the midterms, everytime we have a repbulican democrats take the mid terms. so its like a never ending grid lock essentially. and the ads... omg the ads are awful and start earlier than ever before the election... its jsut redicously how much people spend on tv ads.

I don’t mind people becoming career politicians eventually, but feel like they should do something productive like teach, or wait-tables, or manage a store or something first. A lot of our UK politicians are out-of-touch with a working, normal world which they’ve never been a part of. And as much as I’d like to see massive, immediate change, I’m happy to go for slow progressive change in its absence. What are the big changes you’d like to see?

My Dad goes on and on and on about how politicians shouldn’t be paid at all, but that would just eliminate anyone who wasn’t super-rich from running, which is the opposite from what we need - but I agree: they shouldn’t be amassing vast wealth. Nobody should! Nobody needs that amount of money, surely?
In most of Europe there are laws on how much money a campaign can spend which is useful as it attempts to equalise the race by ensuring that those with the most money don’t have the largest reach.
