I know, I know. bad noter.
So, I got my tax rebate. Not as much as I was expecting, but not too shabby either.
I got my new halogen oven. At last, I can cook food that doesn't require a microwave, slow cooker or hob! I can have garlic bread (It's the future, I've tasted it) with my spag bol!
And, and, and, it cleans itself! I actually like watching that, it's funny.
Have yet to try the air fryer. The instructions say to put a little oil in a bowl and use that to coat what I'm cooking. Fuck that, I'm going to get a oil spray instead. Much easier.
I also got some English whisky (not bad, but not as good as my Scotch) and my Aberdeen strip.
With everything else that went on last month I forgot to organise something for World Book Night. So I just left my books in a pub.
I went round to my best friends house to hang out with her and her lad. T'was a good night. Lots of alcomahol was consumed, including some of the whisky.
The Monday, I went to a World Book Night talk from a local author, got free books and then met another friend I haven't seen in a while. She missed her bus back so crashed the night at mine.
Once again, I woke up with a cute girl in my bed.
And this weekend was the Tour De Yorkshire. Where, as mentioned before, I was a flag and whistle marshal. Got the train at 9, walked for about half an hour right through Great Ayton to my position, waited for about an hour and a half, took up my place, did my job, walked back through the village and waited for an hour and three quarters for my train with only a chicken for company.
I've seen photos of what was happening in Boro and kinda wish I could have been here but I still wouldn't have given up what I did. Not many can say they had that experience.
Apart from that, not much happening. Still job hunting.
Pics!
See? English whisky.
Books on display.
This is how I was dressed on a traffic island this morning. Except this is at my friends house.
Amusing sign
