so, I ran a 10K in 71 min. There were a lot of hills, which i'm not a fan of---but the location (gig harbor) can't be beat. Man, it's pretty out there.

On (rebecca) Black Friday, I went to Crossfit and did a REALLY COOL WORKOUT! so cool that I bragged for a few days to my fellow crossfitters.
1) get a deck of cards.
Hearts = Pushups
Diamonds = situps
Spades = box-jumps
clubs = squats
aces = 15 reps
facecards = 10 reps
jokers = 15 burpees
As Many Reps As Possible (AMRAP) 20 min.

Go get a card. If it's the 8 of hearts, then you do 8 pushups.
go get another card. if it's the 5 of clubs, you do 5 squats.
(rinse and repeat until the deck is gone).
*NOTE: We did this so there were 2 people per deck. You could do this in your living room (minus the box-jumps... you can do tuck-jumps instead) and just cut the deck in half.
I rarely like working out (I really like the high feeling afterwards)----but this wod was AWESOME. |
