Todays' WOD was "run a 5k".
they wanted us to mix it up... either run with a partner, sprint/jog every other telephone pole, or row.
I decided to run 2 miles, then row the last mile. It worked out really well, actually. I'm a really powerful rower (and normally, i'm a sprint/slow-jogger). so I actually ended up cutting 3 minutes off my Sunday time!
woot!
somehow, running with my partner (her name is Beth) was WAY easy-- and then rowing was also super easy.
Not sure how I managed to do that. (seeing that there was WAY more hills and stuff on this run.)

re: paleo--- this weekend marks the end of my "diet". I think i'm still going to continue it, but be more flexible. I still have 5 lbs to go (to reach my goal weight), and I definitely don't miss a lot of carbs, but fuck... I miss cookies. I miss hotdogs in a bun. I miss mac and cheese.
normally, when i "cheated" i had sushi (with rice), but that should hardly count because it's still "kinda healthy".
Anyway.... I'm going to gorge myself with delicious bbq foods this weekend!!! MWAHWHAWHAAAA! OH YES!!! COME TO ME DELICIOUS THINGS! GET IN MY BELLAH! |
