so today at "the box" 2 people from microsoft came to "check the place out".
they "work out often.... like 4-5 times a week".
They were both really built in the arms, obviously could deadlift a shit-ton and whatever. I looked at them eagerly and said "great! let's see what happens! I would love to have someone to challenge me!"
so we do the warmup:
500m row
40 squats
30 situps
20 pushups
10 pullups.
It took me 4:58
it took them over 10 min.... afterwards they were DYING.... dead. too tired to move. Then the trainer said "ok guys-- who's ready to work out?"
LOL. the look on their faces.
so then we work out. 30 rounds of 5-lifts with this weight that is recommended.
One guy (marwan) who was all "pfft. this crossfit shit isn't anything. We do MUCH BIGGER AND BADDER STUFF where I come from!" *showoff showoff... flex flex.*
he started with 85lbs... by the time I was DONE- he still had 15 rounds to go. (only half way). He removed all the weight and was huffing and panting like he was running miles
poor dude, I hope he comes back a little more humble.
