Ringing in 2011

My sweet cousin sent me a text today asking if my husband and I would like to come to her house to spend NYE with her and her bf.  I told her of course! I LOVE my cousin, she's like my sister. So I'm very excited to go to her house. I haven't seen her since September, can't wait.

Nothing much else has been going on. I had yesterday off, that was nice. This week I only work 3 days, off Friday and then work Saturday. Next week will be weird, too, since Christmas will be in the mix. Speaking of Christmas, we have NO gifts! I'm so annoyed with my husband because I wanted to go a while ago to get our niece her presents. But he kept saying "we'll go next weekend", and of course we never did. He wants to go this coming Saturday now, and I know that the stores are going to be mobbed and shelves empty. I hope we can still get her some nice things.

We still need to get gifts for the rest of the family as well. But I think we'll just be getting gift cards for everyone. There is a movie theater nearby that serves dinner while the movie is playing, so we're thinking of getting gift certificates for his parents and his brother and wife for that place. But we'll see.
