RYC: my grandfather on my dad's side has Alzheimers. he's pretty much alone in the nursing home; he has four kids and his wife passed away 14 years ago. i try to visit him at least once a week.
my maternal grandparents are both still living. my grandmother has sever dementia. it's not yet Alzheimers, but she isn't able to live on her own. Luckily, my grandpap is still alive and well. he's just old. lol
