I posted the video of Niklas giggling from the other week... hopefully I can get more, he just seems to get so serious as soon as the camera comes out!
Had his 3 month pictures taken on 8/3 and we are waiting for the disk so we can order prints! A friend of ours from our other church took them at her house and we had such a great time taking them! I'll send you some when we get them ordered. Are there any particular sizes you would like (8x10, 5x7, 4x6, 3.5x5, wallets)? Let me know.
Niklas is getting bigger every day it seems like. He still goes to bed between 9-10, but only usually gets up now around 4-5 and then 7-8.. so getting more sleep (if I go to bed shortly after him). He is still in 3-6 month clothes, but slowly moving into 6-9 month sizes at the moment. He's eating 4 ounces of formula about every 4-5 hours now, if he goes longer, then he will eat up to 6 ounces at a time... but he doesn't do that too often. He is starting to find his hand in his mouth, but not on a consistent basis.
Working one day a week is working out good. I don't usually want to go, but after the day is done I am really ready to see Niklas and so I think a little time away is good for us both. From what I can tell, he likes it over at the adoptive father's Aunt's house... he has cousins there that adore him and give him lots of attention.... and he doesn't cry when I leave him (yet).
This weekend we have our first overnight away from home... we are going to our friends' parents' cottage on a lake for a weekend of fun and relaxation... we'll see how it goes!
Well I better get to bed, he's already been down since 9:30, and will probably be up in about 4 hours. Hope you are doing well.
