685 Valentineday, even more snow and a vivid dream 02-08-2015
Valentine day
Yep, another year without a Valentine to kiss and hug and shower with love.
I got 3 Valentineday cards yesterday. (I suggested to my dad we do it “now” rather then wait till the last moment like he usually does)
I got one for my mom. One for my friend TX Lisa and one for…Karen. The ones for Lisa and Karen were both friendspecial person, type card but that was all. I didn’t buy any gifts this year. I’ll probably buy my mom a few bags of candy she likes when time draws closer, I have to find out the name of them, but nothing for Karen beyond the card.
EVEN MORE SNOW?
So two weeks ago we had 36 inches of snow. Last week we had 17 more inches of snow and from this morning till Tuesday morning, we are suppose to get an additional 18-24 inches of snow. Where I live, we usually get the higher amount. I’m not quite sure where we’re going to put this snow. I know some of the snow had melt but the snow is going to be close to if not it will be, over my head on either side of the walk way-drive way. Especially after two days ago, when my dad hired a few men to clean off the roof. They said that there is more snow up there than what you can see from the street. They told my dad the snow was about 4ft high up there. Good thing they cleaned it off before this next snow storm.
I’m still not sure where we are going to put any of this snow.
Does anyone want free snow?
A dream I had last night. I wrote an email to my twin and his friend Jared. So instead of re-writing it all, I’ll just post it as is.
I had a dream last night that I wanted to share. I’ll try to do the best in recalling as much as I can.
It was my birthday (our birthday to Justin) and prior to what I recall in the dream, Robert was sick, maybe with the FLU. I was sitting on a chair that was leaned against a 3ft fence. The floor was the fake green plastic mat thingy? I was in a room and I was facing a ceiling-floor wall of glass and it was sunny out.
This is where I remember everything, from this point on…
Jared was standing in front of me and said “For your birthday, I want to introduce you to Matt Franco”. (didn’t click in my head who it was) I said “ok” Jared: let’s try that again (I hear a click) I want to introduce you to Matt Franco. (I’m totally confused, I don’t know who this matt guy is and I’m waiting for Jared to bring him over or to lead me out of the room or something?) Jared: (chuckles) let’s try this one more time. Ok? (click. I then realized he had a camera in hand and was taking a video.) Jonathan, I want you to meet Matt Franco. I turn my head slightly to my left and there stood Matt Franco. I was pleasantly shocked. He was a player in the late 90’s early 2000’s who mostly was the utility man for the Mets and later with the Braves and Cubs. I start telling him how I use to be a big mets fan growing up “In the days of Strawberry, doc, HOJO and Greg Jefferies” we got into a discussion about other mets and like only in a dream, I found myself in a cart, it was a cross between a grocery cart and a go-cart that went by itself. I was riding and he was walking next to the cart as we continued our conversation about baseball. I was telling him how a goal of mine is to visit all MLB stadiums and last year I went to Arizona to capture my 24th stadium. before I knew it, I was home, the cart thingy stopped at the garage door. I asked if he wanted to come in for a few minutes. He said “no thanks, I have other obligations I got to get to” and he jogged away down the path to the high school. I was so excited. I was talking to a real baseball player and someone who I watched play. I was beaming as I walked to the front door. There was a little light blue teddy bear holding a card that was jammed into the handle of the front door. I thought “oh, it must be for Rob. I’ll let him get it.” I opened the front door. Walked down the stairs, turned left to head to my room and…I woke up.
So, Jared, are you flying up in 3 weeks and bringing Matt Franco with you?
Of course, the funniest thing about me dreaming, is seeing people and even more so, people I’ve never “seen” before. Jared, you had a full head of hair and I think you had a thin goatee. You were wearing a light blue short sleeve collared shirt with dark blue or black shorts. I was wearing a Red Sox t-jersey and shorts.
And the house still was painted yellow with the brown doors.
