~♥ Today I'm Thankful For... Warmer weather.

      Today my little girl is the big 7! It's a little hard for me to believe I have a 7 year old! It's been amazing watching her grow up and seeing her become her own little person. :*) She woke up and opened her presents - all of which she squealed over. We got ready to head out for her birthday after a couple quick stops. We picked up another acrylic paint for her on our way to her birthday fun and we picked up another one on our way home. I LOVE coupons! We have these 40% off coupons we've been using so I am getting the 4 ounce tubes for $2.56 each which is great! She's excited to paint again tomorrow. I am going to have to order more canvases for her for Christmas.

      We spent the day today playing mini golf which was awesome! We played 3 rounds of golf and played a tons of games in their game room. With one game alone she hit 1000 tickets! She was SO excited, it was adorable! She got enough tickets to get an adorable stuffed cheetah, no surprise there. My daughter LOVES cheetahs as much as she loves horses. She was super excited to take it home. She named it Blur. :*) After mini golf we met up with a friend for .25 cent ice cream cones. We had fun, and my friend and I entered into this contest they are doing every day this week. When we got home they called both of us, BOTH my friend and I won $25 gift cards to the place! That was really neat!

      For the party on Saturday I cut up an entire 5 pound bag of apples into slices. There were still a big container full of slices left that we brought home, but my kiddo has a loose tooth and can't eat them. Sunday morning I slept in some, which was lovely, and when I got up I decided to make applesauce from the leftover slices. I peeled them all, since the peels don't taste as good in the sauce, and added some of the leftover milk sauce from the Tres Leches cake (milk cake) to the pot for sweetener. The smell was so nice while they cooked! Applesauce is much easier to eat for kids with a loose tooth. She said it was delicious! :*)

      Since we got home this evening I've let her play some of her new DS games. All of the games are animal games of course. :*) Today was just really great for her and I had a great time too. It was great to see her have such a wonderful time. I really am blessed to have the most wonderful daughter in the world and to be able to be her mom! My baby is 7 today and I couldn't be more proud of her. She really is an amazing little girl and she is so incredibly special. I am really glad to honor and celebrate her today! She deserves it! :*)
