I seriously am in total shock that we only have 1 week of classes left and then finals. I just don't understand where the time went. I'm going to miss some people. Big time.
Work has been going wonderfully! We had our banquet on Friday and it was at 25 Kitchen & Bar in Downtown Grand Rapids. It was such a nice place! It wasn't what you would've expected - definitely more industrial, but I really liked it. The tables were set up a little weird, so we really couldn't talk with all of the callers or the Annual Giving Staff, but it worked. I ended up getting the Rookie of the Year award, even though I've been there the shortest amount of time! I was happy. (:
I really need to start cracking down on this homework. I have to finish a story, revise a poem and write 4 more poems for my creative writing portfolio, write/draw a children's story in Arabic with Sam, study for this Arabic final, write an awesome persuasive speech for Tuesday, rewrite one of my speeches for finals week, do an extra credit paper for com 101, study for this com 101 test on Thursday & get together with my group for our final project in com 101, edit my final project for film sometime between now and Friday... and I have to work today through Wednesday, plus I have regular classes. -Sigh- Honestly, I didn't realize how much I had to do, until I just wrote it all out. This is insane. That list makes me SO excited for summer.
Well, I just wanted to do a quick update. I really need to work on my portfolio now.
