I got on the scale today, and saw that I lost 9 pounds!

I think it is when I was really sick for two days and didnt eat anything, but now I am working on my portions to try and keep the weight off.
Good job! I think it's a nice head start. Don't be discouraged if you gain some back. Being sick is evil like that. Definitely watch portion sizes. But a few smaller plates (dollar stores have cute small plates, just don't stick them in the microwave!) to control your portions. I love small plates. I feel like I'm eating a lot more than I really am.
