In this journal, I'm going to write how I was visited and tricked by a demon, and later
became a Christian when I realized God and Satan's presence in the world.
---(pt.10)---
When the demon realized that I had rejected it, and would no longer give it what it wanted, it began to take it from me by force. I would wake up sore in the abdomen, or walk around in a tired, zombified state, as it seemed to absorb my energy. It invited 'friends.' I would hear multiple voices mocking me and laughing at me, telling me I was going to die or go to Hell.
Some days it would take me out of my body. I would feel my spirit lifted out of my body and know certainly it wasn't simply a dream, because I would feel or see my body underneath me. Once, it violently shoved me out of bed, and I had to scramble to return to my body. Another time, I felt a clawed hand tug me upward and move me around the room, and saw a glimpse of a devilish face looking back at me, with pointed ears. Another time, I was lifted up and it spun my body in a circle, seeming to chant something or do a ritual. Sometimes I'd be raped in my sleep and see teeth and claws scratching at me.
When I was 'in love' with the demon, the way it acted was different. Once, as I slept, the image of a man's torso appeared before me, and I had the vague impression it wanted to suck out my soul and harm me. However, I was so distracted by it, and so full of love for it, that I went ahead and hugged it, and it was shocked that I had done that. I felt real flesh and loose skin.
During the day, it harassed me by making sudden mental blocks or flunctuating my vision to make it hard to concentrate on schoolwork. My grades steadily went down, which was unlike me, an A and occasional B student. I hated being manipulated during my waking hours and sleep.
However, there were times the out-of-body experiences backfired. It would grab my hand, but I would resist and grab it instead. This made it panic and struggle out of my grasp. Another time, I grabbed its arm, lifted it to the sky, and called out that God do whatever he wanted to it, and torment it. I can't remember what happened exactly, but I remembered being answered in some way, and felt confident that I would be healed. Another time, as I slept, I felt a shock wave come down and hit the demon, but something possessed me to move the demon away from it and it stopped. I knew Jesus was there, and he was aiding me. Now that I knew that the demon was evil. It had shown its true colors. Now it was time for spiritual warfare.
Spiritual warfare is the ongoing battle between humans, angels, and God, between the spiritual forces of evil. It is one of the least known aspects of Christianity, but it is very real and is constantly in motion in our world. Demons are the main cause between many satanic cults and deranged killers, although not all. The Bible tells us to "put on the armor of God" to fight against these unseen forces.
Ephesians 6:10-17
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
What I didn't know, was that I was going to soon undertake continuous sessions of deliverance in order to exorcise this demon, and it was all going to be in the power of Jesus Christ.
