Again I don't feel like messing with a layout. I just found out a day or so ago that my friend Andrew, AKA Elora's Giant, has to go back to the hospital soon. His disease tends to affect the kidneys most often. His are apparently full of lots of small tumors, and they aren't sure if the tumors are cancerous yet or not. They won't be able to tell if they're malignant until the tumors come out and they can test them. Trouble is there's more tumor than kidney in at least one of them. So the Dr has decided to remove one of his kidneys as it's not functioning. They'll take the other one later more than likely since it will continue to get worse as time goes on, but for now it's working well enough that it won't kill him.
That really sucks. Basically he knows he'll eventually be on dialysis until someone either gives him a kidney if they're a match (which he's refusing to let anyone do, I've offered to see if I'm a match) his name comes up on the transplant list. So one of the sweetest guys I know is pretty much waiting for someone to die. The Universe can be a jerk sometimes.
Also, my friend Kristy's little brother recently found out that he has ulcerative colitis. And he was rushed to the hospital today because he was losing too much blood... through his butt. He's probably going to need a blood transfusion cause his bone marrow can't keep up with making new red blood cells with what he's losing. He's also one of the sweetest guys I know, and offered to give Andrew a kidney even though he might die during the surgery to remove it, because that's jsut the kind of guy he is.
