Soooooo... I need to update more often.
I need to do a lot of things... like not spend $100 some odd in one shopping trip like I just did. But all but 4 things I bought were clearance or from the dollar bin... I may have gone a little crazy.
The dollar bin purchases were for Elora.
A pair of fairy wings and a star wand, lots of books... and by a lot I mean ALOT. 9 to be exact. They have a bunch of really cute books from Sesame Street in the dollar bin at Target. And she loves to read. I might save a few for her birthday. I'll save the three little pop-up books for sure. It'll be hard cause I love dress up time but I plan on saving the wings and the wand for her birthday pictures too.
I got her a ton of clothes. I got her 4 skirts (two of them are tutus!!), three tank tops, an new shirt, and 4 pairs of leggings. Oh! And a pair of Abby Cadabby socks too
She's kind of bonkers about Abby Cadabby right now
I got myself a new tank top and three new bras. I really needed some since the basement ate one of the two that I had that still contained the girls.
Yes. I call my boobs "the girls".
It's a thing. I'm silly.
I'm glad I got a bunch of stuff though. I haven't shopped for anything in a while and it was good to get out and talk with Manda and laugh. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in toddler world.
I feel like a bad mom just thinking that sometimes... But I kind of... I need space I guess.
Maybe it'll be better when we move upstaris. Elora will have her own little closed off area. Her own "room" even if the door is just a curtain.
I'll be able to have the bigger space for myself. So that'll be nice.
The crazy thing about it is... We have to move up there by the beginning of August. My baby brother got a job. He's been hired by a company that builds wooden roller coasters. They're based here in Pennsylvania, have a shop a few hours east of here actually. but they have people that lay out what they need for a job, and send a big crew out with all the materials to where ever the coaster is going to build it. Colin just missed a job that would have been going to California. But he got in on one that's going in Orlando, Fl in August. they'll be there for 7-8 months, with two weeks (depending on how close to on schedule they are) for holidays. The company usually buys a big block of motel/short term apartments and they pay for a certain amount of living expenses I think.
I'm super happy for him. It's a great opportunity. But I can't help but remember the pudgy little toe headed sack of cute with giant blue eyes that only ate anything if I (or our mom) made airplane noises. He spit things at everyone else. Legit. I had to be the one feeding him if mom wasn't there.
My baby brother is leaving me.
Bright side to that?
The ferrets come to live with us.
I'll update on Elora more later During an earlier trip to a DIFFERENT target today... I may have purchased a butterfly wand and doodle bobber headband. Poor Elora
