con: last night's trip to walmart was a complete failure, as they did not have a single camera i wanted to purchase. [this, after the awesome and appreciated advice from nicole and mollie].
pro: my "broken" camera seems to be working again, at least for the moment. if it can get me thru the move, i'll be thrilled.

we're going down to the lake today, for a farewell to summer/neighbour's birthday party. the weather is shite [cold and grey] but as long as it doesn't rain, i'll call it a draw with mother nature.

i move in 3 weeks from tomorrow. holy shit!
