the doctor on in emerg last night can usually be counted on for an easy callback. [my last one was a walking, talking, fully co-operative chest xray, at midnight]. i was hoping for a sweet call last night, and instead was made to stay overtime. boo. BUT! i was staying to do post-reduction images on a severely dislocated thumb, and i got to help with the reduction! sure, i was only a counter-balance, but that meant i got to hold dude's arm while the doctor put her entire weight on his thumb and pulled the joint back into alignment. it was pretty rad.
