daisy comes out tomorrow. i cannot wait to almost famous that album. i'm not sure it can outdo the devil and god are raging inside me in that capacity, but i'm sure i'll enjoy it nonetheless. the only downside is that i had to preorder it from amazon because nowhere in this rinkydink town will have it, and it won't ship till tomorrow, so i'll have to wait a few days to actually have it, but that's just the way it's gotta be. [heads up brand new fans, please do not attempt to talk to me about this album in any capacity until i've heard it. k, thanks.]
i somehow managed to cut my thumbnail more or less in half today, on a paper towel dispenser of all things. i am not impressed. also, it fucking hurts.
i coaxed myself out of bed today with a peptalk consisting mostly of "this is the last monday morning you'll have to get up for work here".
an old pseudo-friend from london added me on facebook today. she's more beautiful than ever, with a second child now, and separated from her husband. i hope we stay in better touch. in fact, she doesn't live too far from toronto, so there's a possibility of getting together to catch up sometime, after josh and i have gotten settled.
