Have you ever felt lonely even in the midst of a crowd? While we have developed so many different ways to communicate from blogging, Facebook and other social media, and of course our smartphones sadly we often find ourselves lonely. God is the source of filling that void that no one else can fill and if you are a believer we are never alone because Christ is within each one of us.
He has promised to never leave or forsake us and His Word tells us there is no place that we can go where He is not. Sometimes friends and family can often come and go, but Jesus is forever. say to yourself, I am never truly alone. Why? Because you are never alone.
Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom. 11:33.] If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me and the night shall be [the only] light about me, Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.
