Not much as changed. Opa is getting weaker and we're feeling more and more helpless as the days go by. Right now we're wondering if there is any point to treatment. I spent the night in the hospital with Opa last night. Then I was there all day today on minimal sleep. The only think keeping me awake is an incredible amount of will power. In the midst of a lot of hopelessness I did manage to get a little sunshine today. Talked to Jamie as Haylee the Wonder Goddaughter babbled in the background and John emailed me this.

So much has changed since then. Opa is gone. I only ever spent one other night in the hospital (yes even after I was fired) we all stayed one night. Opa would have been so mad! John and I don't live in the same place. We don't have the same jobs. My brother doesn't even live in the same place though it could be argued it he's doing the same job of flying airplanes and teaching people to fly them. So many things have stayed the same though. Jamie and I still talk a lot and Haylee still babbles in the background but they're almost words. And some of them are actually words. John still emails me silly things.

And now for something completely different! My brother has joined the challenge for life! YAY!
