As most of you all could have guessed, I am a law student at Harvard. With this being said, it is obvious that I know enough about criminal justice to reform the entire police force as a whole. My main objective is to bring fairness and equality back into policing. This cannot be done without addressing problems that people will not face. These issues, but are not limited to: jaywalking and loitering. We have become so focused on issues like murder that we have forgotten that small crimes can lead up to bigger crimes over time. One that has the audacity to jaywalk could commit homicide in the first degree after many instances of getting by with this small crime. I believe to reform the police force, we must focus on the root of all crimes. Jaywalking. Comment compliments or questions on our reform.
