Day 1

Yesterday was a fail day haha. I had so much going on, I didn't keep up with my calories or what I was eating and I was bad and had KFC for dinner, along with an A&W rootbeer cause they were in the same building. Oh well though, I'm not going to dwell on it because today is a new day to make smart choices. =]
So here is what I ate today:
For lunch: (I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast. Which I know is bad, but I woke up so late I just had something for lunch because breakfast stuff didn't sound appealing. I did eat almost right after I woke up though.)
I had 12 pizza rolls and a pepsi.
For Dinner:
I had Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers Whiskey Steak which was delicious, and a donut lol.
I am also having a pepsi later on tonight because I work until 11, and I need the caffeine to stay awake.
I had a bottle of water, and am working on my second one.
My calorie intake according to sparkpeople.com (Including the 2nd pepsi I haven't had yet.) is 1,240. Which is good. My range is 1200-1500 so I am doing pretty good for today. I plan on getting in a little bit of exercise tonight after work, we will see how tired I am but I want to get at least 20 minutes.
I feel really good and motivated to start this thing and keep with it. I was reading shape magazine earlier today, and that thing motivates me like no other. I love that magazine, I wish they made more than one a month lol.
Well that is my update for today. Thank you all for the lovely comments, I am too busy to get back to you all. I got so many comments on my last entry, and I will pretend it's not just for the bloop points. =] So I will talk to you tomorrow. =]

If you're looking for some good recipes for meals.... www.mealopedia.com is a good starting point for invoking some good healthy habits. Not all recipes are healthy, but there are some really decent ones.

I joined the 50 million pound challenge. It's pretty awesome cause it helps you lose weight but also eat better, healthier foods. Even if your cutting calories you have to watch how many of the calories are sugar calories, that's where the a lot of weight comes from. 1 pepsi contains approximately 10 teaspoons of sugar. It's a pretty awesome site...I haven't lost crap yet lol but I'm working on it. I wish you lots of luck!!

my biggest problem is sugar sadly. oddly, i don't care much for sweets as in candy, cakes, ice cream and such. but i do love my pepsi's and if it's not a regular pepsi it's fake. lol. that and my sugar loaded coffee though i have cut back some on that. i'll be sure to check out that site. thanks!

Hey, I saw that you're trying to lose weight. I hope it isn't out of my place to say anything but I highly recommend p90x. It's a really good exercise program. I'm doing it right now and I've lost weight. Also boxing is a very good workout. You could get this book from the library-it's a 30 minute exercise program, 3 times a week. Less extreme than p90x. It's called the 30 day makeover or something like that. I'll find out the exact name. It's very easy to understand and follow. Also, if you can-you should try to find an exercise buddy either online or in person-because when you have an exercise buddy, you stay motivated easier than if you were alone.

RYC: I understand about staying motivated. My mom has the hip hop abs thing. I bought it for her, for her birthday. She's used it only once. It's boring for her. The only reason I'm able to stay into p90x is because Tony Horton (the guy who made this program) is so funny. He makes me laugh while I'm working out.

The elliptical is a really good machine to have. It's really easy on the knees as well. It's a serious calorie burner.
