Since I was a little girl the idea of a blue rose fascinated me, but it didnt become anything more than a passing thought until it started to show up in my dreams when I was 18yrs old...even then it was just a nice idea.
The dreams with the blue roses started to increase after some time and one thing was for sure they comforted me and were always left for me to find. I however started to wonder why they appeared. What is the symbolic meaning of them in a dream?
One day I dreamt I was walking through a neighborhood I had just moved into. I saw no life. I eventually came across dead/asleep people on their backs facing up. And sprouting out of their chests was bouquets of red roses. Some had lots and lots of roses and others had just a few. I realised in the dream that the roses represented the amount of romantic relationships each person had in their life time.
As I continued to walk around I eventually came across a house I was curious about so I went in. All around me were aquariums full of water and floating at the top were radishes. (yeah I was like wth...). All except one aquarium. In this aquarium there was a skeleton body of a girl and out of her chest was a hybrid blue rose crossed with a radish (lol). The flower had 3 or 4 petals on it; which represented children in that relationship. There may have also been a rose bud too but I can't seem to remember =/...
As I continued to look at the skeleton I decided to look down at my own chest only to realise I was now the girl in the aquarium and then the dream ends.
I woke up and decided to research the dreams meaning. I had internet now and I needed to know...Obviously hybrid blue rose radishes weren't gonna come up...lol. So I looked them up seperately and radishes mean good luck, fondest dreams come true and love is returned, and flourishing in business. Its only bad if you eat the radished...lucky for me that wasn't the case =).
As for the blue rose... well the common meaning of a blue rose is wishes granted, the unattainable, mystery, dreams, a committed faithful love, love at first sight, prosperity, the impossible, and new beginnings. There are many different ways to take these meanings. Mostly it is positive. To me a blue rose would be someone I may see as unattainable or they may see me as that...
Some time before I dreamt this dream I had been at a low point....I've been single my whole life and I was tired of feeling alone...I wanted children one day and it just didn't seem likely to happen since my life revolved around my family's needs and wants.......soo I prayed...I ask for a sign that I wasn't gonna be alone for the rest of my life and that I would have children one day....
I had completely forgot about that prayer because it was months before I had that dream....that's why the guy from the dream in feb 2010 seemed important once I remembered the dream and prayer I had had....to me the blue rose in the bouquet was a sign that he was the guy I was meant to be with...he'd be my future childrens' father....kinda like the dreams were sent to reinforced that I wasn't always gonna be alone....
If there was a rose bud along with the one with 3-4 petals...it could be that guy I was talking to before....that relationship never bloomed so to speak soo it could be what it meant....
Whatever the case those dreams give me hope....I'm just not soo sure if I'm right about who those men are....and if they are who I think they are...should I be ok with that?....
Al's not a bad guy...even with his faults....truth be told I don't know a lot about Al and his personal life...things change in relationships and maybe I'm assuming something that's wrong...whatever the case his appearance...where we worked...etc...seems to close to the dreams to rule him out...
One thing is for sure...I want to be in love with someone who loves me back...And to have children one day with.... and I'd be incredibly happy if my first child (if I ever have any) turns out to look just like the baby girl from the dream in dec 2009....time will only tell..... |
