"starving"

07/30/2013

so, ever since I started counting calories (a stupid way to do anything, imo) i've always been in a deficit.

The way I eat (since being unemployed) is 1 big main meal and grazing throughout the day. I just don't really find myself to be hungry. I'm fine with this and I work out like normal and everything is grand.

Yesterday, I worked my balls off. Running, lifting, a really hard workout (below). I've been running 10+ miles every 3-4 days or so and trying to figure out why the fuck i don't look like nichol richie with a coke problem.

My friend (who has me starting to count calories in the first place) said "omg, girl, you're starving yourself!"
me: but i'm not hungry!
her: yea- but your body is holding onto everything that you put in. That's why you're not dropping weight. In other words: eat more.
me: i like fude.

so... i guess i need to eat more? bleh. that means i need to spend more on food. I wouldn't really complain about this, except when avocados are 4$ EACH, it gets redunk really quickly.

I never realized how little i eat when I'm not sitting behind a desk for hours-on-hours a week. weird, right?

THE SEVEN:
7 rounds of:
----------------
7 hand-stand-pushups
7 thrusters (75lbs)
7 knees-to-elbows
7 deadlifts (165)
7 burpees
7 kettle-bell swings (20kg)
7 pull-ups

I've had the same issue...sort of. I had to stop calorie counting years ago for the greater good but we (the person who writes my eating and work out plans) realized that I was working my ass off and eating consistently well, but the weight wasn't shifting as expected (and that's with consideration for muscle increase), we figured it may have something to do with inadequate food portions, so even though I've been eating clean and healthy; I haven't been consuming enough for my body to work how I need it to.
