TEAM WOD

so - yesterday we did this Team Wod that was....well... awful.

in a team of 3 (Me, Nicole, Beth) we had to go from "station" to "station". The fastest person went first-- and only 1 person could be on each "station" at a time.

here were our stations:

1) rowing machine (row 20 calories) (approx 250 meters)
2) 30 burpees
3) 30 ground-to-overhead dumbell lifts. (both arms)
4) toe-to-bar pullups. (hang on the pull-up bar and basically do a inverted crunch--where your feet go above your head and touch the pull-up-bar).---- I can't do toe-to-bar, so I did knees-to-elbows.
5) 100' overhead-lunges. (lunge with a 25lb weight above your head)
6) 50' sprint


the part that killed me was the 30-burpees. I HATE burpees.

our team did well, actually. We had to modify a lot because we just don't have the flexibility/strength as some, but we did really well!

I was first and completed all that in 13:45. My team finished in 22:50 which was the shortest of the class We beat the boys! (and they are all marathon runners and shit!)

so. yay.

after I finished, I threw up.... but I haven't thrown up in a long time... So I guess that was note-worthy. I got a good workout, yes?
