An email update.
So, Niklas is now 10 weeks old and everyday is something new. He smiles a lot more now and almost whenever you try to get him to. He is working hard at getting control of his head, he looks like a bobblehead sometimes :)
His legs are really strong and he wants to try and stand on your lap while you hold him, otherwise he kicks and kicks if he's laying down.
He still isn't sleeping through the night, I'm hoping that the time between feedings will get longer soon, but for now it is still 3 hours from start to start. He went swimming for the first time Sunday over at the adoptive father's Uncle and Aunt's house and he didn't seem to hate or love it... he tolerated it.
He didn't like the fireworks... we didn't go watch any since he was just unhappy with the ones that were being set off around the neighborhood. He had a good visit with my brother, sister-in-law and his cousins while they were visiting from Atlanta... he is so much bigger than my neice, who is 5 weeks older than him!
Weather permitting we try and walk every night before bed, as he loves to be outside and look around. I am hoping to get a video of him smiling and cooing, but it seems every time he is, by the time I get the camera... he's done being cute.
